She’s done it again!

Nicole Lynn is no stranger to history making achievements. The Tulsa, Oklahoma native’s name started ringing bells in 2019 when she became the first Black woman to represent a top 3 NFL draft pick, Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. He was drafted by the NY Jets for close to a $30 million contract. At the time, Lynn told reporters she became a sports agent to help athletes who came from environments like hers.

“Seventy percent of all football players go broke or file bankruptcy — like 75 percent, which is crazy. We’ve got guys making $100 million and they go broke. That’s the reason I got in the business…Many players grew up in similar situations like I did. They, too, have demanding families that they have to support and families that pull at them from all sides. I know exactly what this is like so I am able to relate to players on a level that many other agents will never be able to. I can also provide guidance to them on how to navigate their family and can be a voice of reason on how to never go back to that life by retaining their wealth long term,” said Lynn.

According to AfroTech, she joined Rich Paul’s Klutch Sports Group in 2021, serving as President of Operations. Earlier this year, she made history again as the first Black woman to represent an NFL quarterback in the Super Bowl. Client Jalen Hurts said he was proud to be represented by Lynn and of the work done by his all-women led team.

“Nicole was really on top of her stuff. She was prepared. She knew what she was talking about. She was hungry and determined. And I feel determination like that never rests. Once you come across such a determined individual, that just hits a little different…I’ve put a lot of trust and faith in a female-driven team, I have a team of straight hustlers…They get things done,” said Hurts.

Now Lynn is back at it again, this time being named as the first President of Football at Klutch Sports Group, a huge milestone in a male dominated industry where less than 5% of certified agents in the NFL are women. In her new role, Lynn will lead the division serving more than 60 NFL players and five NFLPA-certified player agents. As the 2023 NFL Draft approaches, Lynn has a pretty solid roster under her belt, representing Alabama Crimson Tide’s Will Anderson and Texas Longhorns’ Bijan Robinson. Lynn said she is ecstatic to pioneer a lane for women in sports in this way. Despite all of her accomplishments, she’s still got more to do.

“Any time someone thinks of an agent, they’re gonna think of me. The first person that’s gonna come to their mind is a Black woman. I’m the Jerry Maguire – that is who I am,” said Lynn.

And we love to see it! Congratulations Nicole!
