Warner Bros. just shared a first look trailer tease of the new Just Mercy film based on the New York Times best-selling memoir by the same name. In it, Bryan Stevenson, a civil rights defense attorney and founder of the Equal Justice Initiative, fights on behalf of the wrongly condemned and death-row prisoners trapped in the criminal justice system. The film follows Stevenson’s first case, Walter McMillian, a Black man who was sentenced to death for a crime he didn’t commit.

Cast members include Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Foxx, Brie Larson, Rob Morgan, Tim Blake Nelson, Rafe Spall and O’Shea Jackson Jr.
