15-Year-Old Founder Of Mo’s Bows Lands Big Partnership Deal With NBA

15-year-old Moziah Bridges, CEO and founder of a successful bow tie company called Mo’s Bows, just got a huge new client: The National Basketball Association. The Memphis teen recently signed a seven-figure licensing deal with the NBA that will allow him to mass produce his bow ties with NBA logos.

This isn’t the first time that the young mogul has done business with the pro sports league. In 2015, he served as a fashion correspondent for the NBA draft telecast and his company provided draft picks with hand-made bow ties. Now, Bridges’ NBA themed bow ties will be sold on the company’s online store and in its retail outlets. 

“My goal has always been to make Mo’s Bows a household name for kid entrepreneurship and men’s accessories,” Bridges told Forbes.

“Partnerships like this one will help me reach my goals of having a full clothing line by the time I graduate from college. It feels really good to know a major company like the NBA believes in me and my vision to shake up the world through fashion.”

It’s safe to say that Bridges’ company has already made a name for itself, as Mo’s Bows has been on the shelves of luxury retail stores such as Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales. His company has even had the 44th U.S. President, Barack Obama on its client list.

From snagging an investment deal on ABC’s “Shark Tank” at 12 years old, to being named one of TIME Magazine’s Most Influential Teens in 2015, to scoring a huge partnership with the NBA (who is on track to bring in $6 billion in revenue this year), Bridges is definitely one to watch.  

“Mo is someone that continues to inspire me, because I remember I had to wait a number of years to get an NBA license for FUBU”, said FUBU founder Daymond John, who invested in Bridges’ business when he appeared on “Shark Tank” in 2014.

“Meanwhile, Mo is still a teen and has the opportunity to align with an international brand like the NBA. This sort of deal will allow Mo to reach a whole new demographic and continue pushing his brand in an amazing direction.”
