The surprise was arranged by Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian, who had extra tickets for a screening and teamed up with “Black Girls Code,” a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing African American women presence in tech, to pull off the special event. Williams and Ohanian rented out the movie theater for the private screening.
