Navy veteran Timothy Birckhead received a brand new handicap-accessible home and a surprise visit from one of his favorite basketball players, Steph Curry, all in one day.

Back in 2009, Birckhead was diagnosed with an incurable disease called Hereditary Neuropathy with Liability to Pressure Palsies, which affects the sensory and motor nerves. At his old home, places like the front entrance became difficult to access. Now, thanks to the nonprofit organization, Homes For Our Troops, Birckhead has a brand new home adapted for his disability (located in Mullica Hill, New Jersey).

“This home gives Tim quality of life beyond measure,” said Birckhead’s mother Gloria, who quit teaching to become her son’s primary caretaker. “It is a blessing for him to do things on his own and set goals.”

Whoopi Goldberg and Sara Haines unveiled Birckhead’s new home on the latest episode of “The View”. While Birckhead’s 12-year-old daughter was surprised with a pair of ballerina shoes signed by Misty Copeland in her new bedroom, another HUGE surprise was waiting for Birckhead in his new man cave. It was two-time NBA MVP, Steph Curry, himself.

See how Birckhead (and his mother) react below. It’s priceless!

“I’m just happy to be here with you guys,” Curry said. “Tim, you’re a big inspiration to me. Now you got a new place to watch our games on TV!”

Timothy, thank you for your service and being an inspiration to us all!
