What a touching moment.

Natalia Bryant posed in front of a mural dedicated to Kobe and Gianna on the night of her winter formal.

The world is still mourning the tragic loss of NBA superstar Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna who were killed earlier this year in a helicopter crash along with 7 others.

Despite our collective grief, no one is more impacted by this than Kobe and Gianna’s immediate family, which include his wife Vanessa and their 3 other daughters. Nonetheless, the family appears to be doing their best to move on, displaying courageous strength in the midst of such immense tragedy.

This week, Vanessa took to social media to post a picture of she and Kobe’s eldest daughter on the night of her winter formal. Natalia Bryant beamed in her dress and heels as she posed in front of a mural honoring her father and sister. Vanessa captioned a second photo of she and the kids, Natalia, Bianka and Capri in front of the mural with the lyrics of Nat King Cole’s “Smile.”

Smile: by Nat King Cole Smile though your heart is aching Smile even though it’s breaking When there are clouds in the sky, you’ll get by If you smile through your fear and sorrow Smile and maybe tomorrow You’ll see the sun come shining through for you Light up your face with gladness Hide every trace of sadness Although a tear may be ever so near That’s the time you must keep on trying Smile, what’s the use of crying? You’ll find that life is still worthwhile If you just smile That’s the time you must keep on trying Smile, what’s the use of crying? You’ll find that life is still worthwhile If you just smile
