Issa Rae set to teach a new MasterClass for creatives, PR Newswire reports.
MasterClass, the digital platform offering one on one courses from some of the world’s greatest minds, announced a new class from entertainment mogul Issa Rae on creating outside the lines. Rae launched her career in 2011 with the web series, The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl. She went on to gain a number of awards for the work, eventually landing her own series on HBO, Insecure, which has nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe. Since then, Rae has taken the industry by storm, producing and starring in a number of films, launching her own record label, investing in the growing tech industry, and making history as the first female celebrity voice of Google Assistant. In 2018, Rae was named one of Time magazine’s most influential people in the world.

She also will share personal challenges and struggles from her own story and teach creatives how to find their voice in their work.
