The rising track star is inspired by her idol, North Texas native Sha’Carri Richardson. White displays her “hundreds of medals” around the photos of Richardson hung on her wall. She’s also motivated by her father, Cam White, a former TCU wide receiver, who started training with her at 3 years old and is more than proud of his little girl. In an interview, he stated, “She just had form, like crazy form. It wasn’t fast, but her form was already perfect. So then as she progressed, we started getting her different trainers.” he said., “She’s just excelling in a sport that she loves now.”
