It’s time to tell the world her story!
We told you back in 2018 about Lauren Simmons, the woman who became the youngest to earn a highly coveted trader role on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). She was the only woman and Black person employed as a full-time stockbroker. At only 23 years old, Simmons shattered the glass ceiling in a white, male-dominated industry!
Since leaving Wall Street, she’s been able to secure her own TV show, Going Public, and write a book entitled Mind Body Money. She also has her own podcast, Mind Body Wealth With Lauren Simmons, where she provides financial wellness and money management advice.
Now, the former stock trader is being portrayed in her very own movie by none other than singer and actress Chloe Bailey. Midas Touch will walk us through Simmon’s life story; she will be an executive producer alongside Glendon Palmer, Stuart Ford, and Lourdes Diaz.
