When “Grown-ish” debuted on January 3 it became Freeform’s biggest comedy series debut in almost six years. If you haven’t tuned in already, the college-set comedy follows Zoey Johnson (Yara Shahidi) and her freshman year experience at Cal U. While maintaining the essence of “Black-ish” with its Black history lessons and thought provoking dialogues, the series “tackles current social issues and complexities facing both students and administrators,” according to Deadline

With this early renewal, looks like “Grown-ish” is just getting started.  Congratulations to the cast and crew!
