Today, we celebrate the birthdate of civil rights pioneer, Rosa Parks. From being a member of the NAACP, to getting arrested for refusing to give up her seat to a white passenger in 1955, to becoming one of the catalysts of the civil rights movement as a result of her civil disobedience, Ms. Parks’ incredible bravery and lifelong commitment to justice and equality continues to be an inspiration to us all.
