We all hope to still be that active at that age!
The Seattle Mariners welcomed a 101-year-old woman to celebrate her birthday by throwing the first pitch.
Mabel Cross recently turned 101 years old, celebrating her birthday with an old-fashioned baseball game. This time, she was the one at the bases as the Seattle Mariners invited her to celebrate by throwing the first pitch.
The team took to Twitter to share the moment, captioning a video of Cross heading on the field – “Throwing it down the pipe at 101. Happy 101st birthday, Mabel! Donning a Mariners Jersey with the numbers 101 on the back and her name, the centenarian had quite a pep in her step as she danced and even did a light jog onto the field, waving at the crowd as the announcer welcomed her.

The crowd cheered her on and her family and friends can be heard in the background giving their ultimate support.
“Come on Grandma, come on, come on,” her grandson exclaims in the background.
And what do you know, the pitch was a solid one at that, making it just short of the catcher who congratulated her with a hug.
Twitter users took to the comments to praise Cross’ vibrancy and joy at such a healthy age.
“Mabel’s got some giddy up!,” one user wrote.
“Mabel looks ready to go another 101,” said another.
“101 and jogging to the mound…amazing!,” a user commented.
“A lot of energy for 101 wow,” added another.
Happy Birthday, Ms. Mabel! May we all live such a long and full life!
