As a high school senior, getting accepted into your top choice school can be one of the most exciting moments in your academic career. For 17-year-old Oludamilola Oluwadara Adekeye, excited would be an understatement, as she got accepted into 19 out of the 20 schools she applied to- and all 19 happen to be among the top universities in the world.

Adekeye, a student at Brighton College Abu Dhabi, received acceptance letters from prestigious schools like Yale, Stanford, Columbia, Berkley and the London School of Economics. Her accomplishment comes a little over a week after Texas teen Michael Brown accomplished a similar feat by getting into 20 of the nation’s top colleges.

Currently, Adekeye, who has a passion for the violin, is still deciding on what she wants to major in; it’s between economics and international relations. One thing is for sure, she has a bright future ahead.

Congratulations, Oludamilola! We can’t wait to see what you’ll accomplish next.
