A few weeks ago, hundreds of Black and beautiful father-daughter duos got dressed up in their Sunday best for The Black Star Project’s annual Daddy-Daughter Dance in Bronzeville, Chicago. The special event is held every February around Valentine’s Day to celebrate the irreplaceable love and bond between a father and daughter. With hundreds of fathers and daughters in attendance, the dance became the biggest event that the organization has ever put together. Take a look at this sweet video of the dance. It was recently shared on Twitter by Crystal Johnson.
