Jayme Hill is proving that even the youngest voices can create change.

At just six years old, Jayme experienced bullying for the first time. Instead of letting that painful moment define her, she turned it into a movement rooted in kindness, confidence, and helping other children use their voices.

According to her website, Jayme is the founder of Jayme Hill’s Kidz Kindness Clubhouse, a movement focused on teaching children kindness, respect, and good manners. Her book, Good Manners, Good People, encourages young readers to practice compassion and become leaders in their homes, schools, and communities.

Through her clubhouse, school visits, books, and workshops, Jayme has been sharing the message that “Kindness is Cool in School.” Her website notes that she has spoken at schools and city events, while using animated lessons, camps, and skits to help children understand the power of kindness.

Her impact has already reached leaders across South Carolina. The City of Columbia notes that Jayme was recognized during a City Council meeting, where officials presented a proclamation for Jayme Hill’s Kidz Kindness Day. The city also described her as a young author and kindness advocate who believes kindness, respect, and good manners can help create a more compassionate society.

Her official website also notes that she received a resolution from Richland County Council and was honored with the Rising Star in Education Award by the Richland County Education Partners Board Golden Apple Awards.

One of the most meaningful parts of her work is the Polished Stones Program for Kids, a school-wide initiative powered by Jayme Hill’s Kidz Kindness Clubhouse. The program is designed to help schools teach kindness, respect, empathy, accountability, gratitude, and emotional awareness through weekly lessons and activities.

According to information shared with BOTWC, Jayme is also preparing to take her message global through a 2027 trip to Tanzania as part of Global Ascent and the Global Day of Giving.

What started as one child’s painful experience has grown into a mission helping other children feel seen, heard, and empowered.
