It was nothing but “good times” for Janet Jackson and Ja’net DuBois on Sunday night when they had a mini reunion at Jackson’s State of the World Tour after party in Los Angeles.

In 1977, Jackson started her acting career on the classic 70’s television sitcom, “Good Times”, where she played Penny Gordon. DuBois played Willona Woods, the friend and neighbor of the Evans family who later adopted Penny to give her a better life. Now, 40 years after first stepping into those roles, the two have had yet another sweet TV mother-daughter reunion.
One of the first times was in 1986 when DuBois played Jackson’s mother in a music video for her hit song, “Control”.
