It was a family reunion!
After a weekend celebration filled with love to celebrate her 80th birthday, one grandmother was met with the best surprise as she boarded her flight from South Carolina en route to her home in New York.
As she boarded the plane, she was greeted by a familiar voice. Standing there in full uniform, extending his hand, was her 28-year-old grandson, Justin Thompson, ready to fly her home as the captain of the flight.
The moment left grandma stunned and beaming with pride as she realized her grandson wasn’t just on board, he was the head man in charge.
Once everyone was seated, Justin took to the intercom to share just how special this flight was for him.
“It’s a special day for me. As some of you may have noticed, my grandmother is here in seat 1A. We just celebrated her 80th birthday yesterday.”
He went on to mention that a few of his aunts and uncles were also onboard.
“That being said, it’s a really special flight for me, and I’m so excited to have them here.”
What a beautiful, full-circle family moment, 30,000 feet in the air, and a memory they’ll carry for a lifetime.
