Ed Wynn knows what it means to build from the ground up.
According to information shared with BOTWC, the Inglewood, California native dropped out of high school, navigated loss, and later found his way to community college in Las Vegas, where he fell in love with learning. That decision eventually led him to earn a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a doctorate from USC. He also completed an executive education program in entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School.

But while he was building his academic path, Wynn never stepped away from the creative world.
According to information shared with BOTWC, Wynn has worked in the creative and events space since the age of 14, producing more than 50 events across the United States and Europe. Over the years, he watched DJs, photographers, content creators, performers, and other independent creatives get overlooked, underpaid, or left without support because they did not have an agent in their corner.
That experience inspired him to create Onyxx, an AI-powered creative agency designed to give independent creatives the kind of support many traditional systems have not made accessible.
Onyxx’s official site describes the platform as a booking agent for creatives, built to handle inquiries, quotes, bookings, contracts, invoices, calendar sync, Stripe payouts, deposits, and tips. The platform is built for DJs, photographers, videographers, performers, stylists, and content creators.
For Wynn, the platform is personal. It is the kind of tool he wished existed for the creatives he has spent more than 20 years building alongside.
