Brock Morgan kept going until the door opened!
After submitting 223 job applications, the Howard University graduate announced that he is joining FOX54 in Huntsville, Alabama, as an anchor and reporter covering sports and news, the New York Post reports.
“Glory to God,” Morgan wrote on LinkedIn. “After 223 applications, I look forward to joining FOX54 as an Anchor/Reporter covering sports & news!”
Morgan is a North Carolina native and Howard University alumnus. According to the New York Post, he studied broadcast journalism at Howard while also playing linebacker for the Bison football team.
He was part of Howard’s 2022 and 2023 MEAC championship teams and was named to the MEAC Football All-Academic Team in 2023.
His journey also took him to Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where he pursued a master’s degree in journalism with a concentration in sports media.
Before landing the FOX54 role, Morgan built experience across sports and news, continuing to grow as a broadcaster while searching for the right opportunity.
Now, after more than 200 applications, he is getting ready to step into his next chapter in Huntsville.
