One big brother had a hard time holding back the tears while seeing his little sister off to her first homecoming.
In a video shared by their mom, @getwhit_me, her son Ray stands beside his younger sister as she gets ready for the big night, clearly emotional while taking in the moment.For their mom, seeing that reaction meant even more because of the relationship the two siblings have built over the years.
“The way my son love his little sisters is such a blessing,” she wrote, adding that she hopes the love he shows them helps set the standard for how they expect to be treated in future relationships.

She also shared that she raised the two children on her own before later meeting her husband. During that time, Ray often found himself stepping into a bigger role at home.
“He had to take on a role as a brother/father,” she explained. “I’m so blessed that my kids share this bond.”
Now, as Ray prepares to eventually head off to college, moments like this are hitting the family a little harder.
