Black stars are getting their flowers on one of Hollywood’s biggest sidewalks.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame has announced its Class of 2027, and several Black entertainers, artists, and media figures are among the honorees selected to receive stars. According to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the 2027 class was chosen from hundreds of nominations and ratified by the Hollywood Chamber’s Board of Directors on July 22, 2026.
In television, Keke Palmer and Raven-Symoné are both being honored, celebrating careers that began in childhood and continued to grow across generations. David Alan Grier is also part of the television category, adding another milestone to his decades of work across comedy, television, film, and theater.
In motion pictures, Delroy Lindo and Idris Elba are among the 2027 honorees, recognizing careers that have helped shape film, television, and culture around the world.
The recording category also includes major Black music icons, including Lil Wayne and Joseph Saddler, known as Grandmaster Flash. In radio, Lenard “Charlamagne tha God” McKelvey was selected as part of the new class.
The honor adds to a recent wave of Black artists being recognized on the Walk of Fame. Busta Rhymes was honored with a star in 2025, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony received their star in 2026, according to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
This class is giving Black talent its flowers across television, film, music, and media. From child stars who grew up in front of us to legends who changed the sound and shape of entertainment, their names are taking their place in Hollywood history.
