There might be a Colin Kaepernick book on the horizon.

According to an exclusive report by Page Six of the New York Post, the activist and former San Francisco 49ers quarterback has scored just over a $1 million dollar book deal with Random House Imprint One World.

Further details about the project have not yet been disclosed, but here’s what we know: Kaepernick has quite an inspiring story to tell. Since starting his protest against social injustice by taking a knee during the playing of the national anthem last year, Kaepernick has pledged $1 million dollars to “organizations working in oppressed communities” and launched his Know Your Rights Camp, which was inspired by the Black Panther Party’s 10-point plan. The youth camp is a free campaign that seeks to raise awareness about higher education, self-empowerment, and how to interact with law enforcement.

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told NFL.com in 2016. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way.”

Kaepernick’s book deal was later confirmed by NBC Sports’ Pro Football Talk. Stay tuned for upcoming details.
