Burna Boy Set to Make History as First Afrobeats Performer at the 2024 GRAMMYs

Burna Boy’s performance will amplify the growing impact of African music on the international stage.

The Nigerian GRAMMY Award winner is among the newly revealed lineup, which includes Luke Combs and Travis Scott. Burna Boy is also nominated for four GRAMMY Awards this year, including Best Global Music Album for “I Told Them…,” Best African Music Performance for “City Boys,” Best Global Music Performance for “Alone,” and Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Sittin’ On Top Of The World.”

The 66th GRAMMY Awards, scheduled to air live on Sunday, Feb. 4, on CBS and Paramount+, will feature an exceptional array of performers, showcasing diverse musical genres and international stars. Burna Boy joins the likes of Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Olivia Rodrigo, with more performers expected to be announced in the coming days.
