He’s a music mogul in the making!
A 5-year-old Portsmouth, Virginia boy’s beats went viral, catching the attention of millions on TikTok, 10 Wavy news reports.
5-year-old Kingsley Rosario is getting into his passions early, using his iPad and drumset to make music. He’s inspired by artists like Bruno Mars and Pharrell Williams, another Virginia native, even dressing up as the producer for a school project. Recently, Kingsley made a beat that blew his mother away, catching the entire reaction on video. Kingsley’s parents, Brittany and Robert, shared the video on social media back in February, and it instantly went viral.
“You make that Bubba?” a shocked Brittany asks Kingsley on the video.
“Yup,” he happily replies as he grooves to his music in the backseat.
The futuristic sound eventually caught mega producers and celebrities’ attention, including Diplo, TrapNation, the Detroit Lions, Billie Elish’s brother Finneas, Steve Aoki, and more. The video has been viewed by more than 8 million users on TikTok. Kingsley is already thinking about what next.
He hopes to hear from superproducer Pharrell, but in the meantime, he’s started sharing more of his songs to Soundcloud and across social media. Currently run by his parents, Kingsley had just one message for his more than 200,000 followers.
