He’s bringing his viral food finds to Brooklyn!
When Keith Lee talks, the food world listens. And next month, the viral TikTok sensation is bringing his flavor-forward influence to the heart of Brooklyn with the New York City debut of the “Family Style Food Festival,” Eater reports.
Set to take place on Saturday, May 17th, at Industry City, the Family Style Food Festival will be a celebration of food, fashion, and culture, all curated with Lee’s unmistakable taste. After a wildly successful run in Los Angeles and a feature appearance at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, the festival is expanding to New York, and Lee is at the center of it all.
The lineup features over 40 restaurants, an eclectic mix of streetwear brands, and live music — all converging in one space. From legends like Katz’s Delicatessen and Russ & Daughters to modern favorites like Dhamaka, Lucali, and Potluck Club, the roster reads like a greatest hits of New York dining. The event will also spotlight some of the city’s hidden gems, in true Keith Lee fashion.
The former MMA fighter-turned-TikTok critic made his name by rating meals in the front seat of his car, always humble and always honest. With more than 17 million followers hanging on every review, his word can transform a struggling mom-and-pop shop into a viral hotspot.
Founded in Los Angeles in 2019 by Ben Shenassafar and Bobby Kim of The Hundreds, along with event producer Miles Canares, Family Style Fest was created to bridge the worlds of food and fashion in an immersive way. That same year, Complex acquired the festival, looking to expand its reach with new food-centered media and experiences. Lee first joined the fest during its ComplexCon Las Vegas installment, where he curated his own section highlighting beloved Vegas eats.
Now, he’s bringing that same magic to New York, following a recent trip to the city where he visited Trinciti Roti Shop in Ozone Park, Bolivian Llama Party in Sunnyside, and Brooklyn’s Taste of Heaven — all from the front seat of his car.
With general admission tickets starting at just over $40, the NYC Family Style Food Festival promises to be a mouthwatering experience with heart. Click HERE to purchase your tickets.
