He was able to support thousands of kids!

Popular rapper Lil Baby just provided free shoes and clothes for hundreds of Atlanta families at his Back-to-School Festival.

According to CBS46, the event took place near the West End Mall in Atlanta, the popular Grammy award-winning artist welcoming 3,000 local children for his festival. In an effort to get the young people prepared for the new school year, he opened the event up to hundreds of Atlanta families for a day filled with music, games, and carnival rides.

The Atlanta native provided free shoes and clothing courtesy of Foot Locker Atlanta for every child at the festival and gave away bookbags, school supplies, and free haircuts. Lil Baby pulled up on his four-wheeler to hang out with the kids and take pictures. Hunger relief company Goodr was also on hand to provide food via their after-school snack bar.

“We are grateful to Lil Baby for his continued resolution in giving back to his community. It is an honor to continually team up with such a household name to relieve some of the ongoing financial burden people are facing,” said Goodr CEO Jasmine Crowe.

This is not the artist’s first go-round at giving back to his community and it won’t be his last. Recently, Lil Baby announced that he would be partnering with business owner Lemont Bradley to provide jobs for 100 people under the age of 21 in the city with the hopes of creating access and opportunities.

“We are looking to give out 100 jobs to teenagers and young adults in the metro Atlanta area. With the crime rate surrounding scams, robbery, and even murder being so high, we are looking to provide a positive outlet and revenue stream to those who are looking for an income,” Bradley and Lil Baby said via statement.

All in all, it looked like a great time and more importantly, the kids got what they need to start school!
