Aunties, rejoice!

R&B songstress Mary J. Blige released her first official boot collection through a limited-edition line with Giuseppe Zanotti boots.

The GRAMMY Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated singer is known for her heartbreaking love songs, empowering anthems, and love of a good thigh-high boot. On May 12, while on stage at her annual Strength of a Woman festival in New York City, she unveiled “The Mary Boot,” a pair of metallic gold thigh-high boots that she co-designed with Italian luxury footwear and fashion designer Giuseppe.

“Y’all like these boots?” she asked the screaming crowd at her concert. “Well they are for sale, The Mary Boot is here. Everybody has been asking, there you go! Happy Mother’s Day, ladies! Boom!”

The long-awaited, one-of-a-kind boots are made with a reflective rose-gold synthetic fabric that rises to the thigh and gives off a metallic shine. Each pair has a four-inch-high chunky heel with leather soles that show the “Giuseppe x Mary J. Blige” logo.

“Statement boots have long been associated as a signature of Mary’s style, and through this collaboration, using striking and innovative design, fine materials, and attention to detail, the two have come together to make the Must Have style of the season,” Giuseppe shared in a statement about the collaboration.

“Must Have,” indeed. Less than 24 hours after the boots became available on May 13, the limited collection was completely sold out

Shoutout to the lucky few who managed to grab a pair. Now you, too, can break it down in the dancery, Mary style!
