The new Netflix series based on the life of Madam C.J. Walker just released first look photos of Octavia Spencer as the hair care mogul via Twitter.

Earlier this year, the limited series, produced by Lebron James’ Springhill Entertainment in partnership with Spencer, announced its all star cast with Kasi Lemmons (Harriet) at the helm directing.
The Self Made series is based on the book On Her Own Ground by Walker’s great-great-grandaughter, A’Lelia Bundles. The series follows Walker through trials and tribulations as she works to build her hair care empire, eventually becoming the first self-made Black millionaire.
The four-part limited series is set to premiere March 20th on Netflix.
