Pinky Cole’s Slutty Vegan Opens 13th Location On Spelman College’s Campus

Just in time for the upcoming semester!

Pinky Cole took to social media to announce the latest expansion of her Slutty Vegan restaurant chain, this time her 13th location nestled in the heart of Atlanta on Spelman College’s campus, Black Enterprise reports. The HBCU Black women’s liberal arts college will welcome Slutty Vegan as a part of its expanded dining options for students, an extension of its mission to “provide fresh, healthy, high-quality foods that are responsibly sourced.” 

“Just in time for the new academic year, Spelman College is excited to partner with Bon Appétit to create a new dining experience that reflects the College’s culture of excellence,” Spelman said via social media. 

Students will have the options to choose from the “One Night Stand,” a vegan burger featuring plant-based bacon and the restaurant’s special “Slut Sauce,” and the “Big Dawg,” a plant-based bratwurst with sauerkraut and sauce inside of a pretzel bun. Students can also choose from plant-based tacos, fries, chicken tenders and Slutty Vegan desserts like sweet potato pie and banana pudding. 

The newest location comes on the heels of the 5th anniversary of the Slutty Vegan franchise. Since its 2018 launch, Cole has expanded the brand into a household name, with unique brand partnerships, products and of course, her signature restaurants. Today, the Slutty Vegan brand is valued at $100 million. 

“Five years ago, when we started this company, we never imagined that we’d literally be changing the world,” Cole said. 

The new Slutty Vegan Spelman College location is slated to open on August 16, 2023 at 350 Spelman Lane SW in the Manley College Center. It will be open to the public.
