Shaquille O’Neal recently surprised one Louisiana woman with an unexpected gift.

Kquoella Lewis was shopping at a Best Buy in Lafayette, Louisiana, when she noticed a tall man walking beside her. That man turned out to be the Hall of Fame legend, CBS 42 reports.

Taken aback, the two sparked up a conversation, with O’Neal revealing that he was looking into purchasing the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phone. Lewis mentioned that she also had her eye on one. By the time the store clerk went to grab O’Neal’s item, he made it clear he would be purchasing two phones.

“Get two, one for me and one for her,” said O’Neal.

Lewis was overwhelmed with gratitude, shocked that Shaq would purchase such an expensive phone for her. And although Lewis said she’s an iPhone girl, she has someone in mind for the phone, ensuring that the $1,200 device will be put to use.

O’Neal is no stranger to random acts of kindness. He has garnered quite a reputation for giving back.

O’Neal has previously paid off an engagement ring for a random stranger, brought 10 pairs of shoes for a 13-year-old whose mom he encountered in the store stressed over the boy’s size 18 shoes, given a three-time heart attack survivor the watch off his wrist, and even purchased a home for a family whose 12-year-old son was paralyzed due to gun violence.

And we’re sure this won’t be the last we hear of Oneal’s generosity.

Thanks for always paying it forward Shaq.

This is fabulous, a very kind man. Hi the more you give the more you get and your kindness will live longer after you are gone. Bless you sir, you are a true champion. May God keep you in perfect peace.
