Jaylen Brown Wins Bill Russell Trophy as 2024 NBA Finals MVP

Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown received the 2024 Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP award following the team’s NBA championship victory on Monday night.

Brown excelled throughout the series, highlighted by standout performances, including a 30-point game in Game 3 and a strong showing in the decisive Game 5, leading to a 106-86 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.


“It was a full team effort,” Brown remarked after accepting the Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP trophy. “I share this with my brothers and my partner in crime, Jayson Tatum. He was with me the whole way. I’ve been grateful for every moment, every opportunity. I never hung my head.”

Brown now holds both the Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP trophy and the Larry Bird Eastern Conference Finals MVP trophy.
