Twin sisters from Milwaukee are making history, getting accepted into 38 colleges and receiving more than $1 million in scholarships, according to the Daily Mail.
Arianna and Arielle Williams attend Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy in Milwaukee. The ladies excelled during their time and are graduating at the top of their class, Arianna as valedictorian and Arielle as salutatorian.
When it was time to apply to college, the duo knew they were going to go above and beyond the school’s suggestion of submitting to 3 colleges.
“We never wanted to do the basic. We always wanted to go above and do beyond that. I said I wanted to do 30. I even applied to schools in Alaska. I’m not going there, but why not,” said Arianna

Their options included a number of prestigious universities including Hampton University, Louisiana State University and Benedict College. The two chose Marquette University so they can stay close to home and pursue degrees in nursing.
“Tuition is pretty much covered there. We got accepted into the EOP Program (Educational Opportunity Program), and directly into the nursing program,” Arianna said.

Principal Judith Parker said that she is proud of the girls for following their dreams and setting an example for other students at Howard Fuller.
“[The two have set a] tremendous example as scholars and citizens for four years. They have traveled, organized community service projects, met Michelle Obama and represented our school inside of our walls and throughout our city. We are proud of them and the entire Class of 2020 and excited for the next chapter in their lives as they take this same drive to college,” Parker said.
Arianna said she wants to tell other students that it’s okay to “fail sometimes.”
“You gotta accept your failures. Just come back harder. Do the most! They told us we were doing the most. Do the most and go above and beyond,” she said.
