U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff and Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock was able to secure a $2.6 million-dollar grant for the college. This is one of the biggest grants the college has seen in 20 years! Ossoff says he “recognizes the extraordinary role that this institution has played in [the] state’s history and more importantly the extraordinary importance in this institution in training the next generation to succeed.”

The funds will be used to restore historic buildings such as Fountain Hall, create a center for learning, and strengthen academic programs. Significant improvements have already been made, such as becoming accredited under the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), reinstating federal funding, and increasing enrollment that’s expected to double by the fall semester. They’ve also hired new staff!
