She’s doing big things!
Gabriella Wilson, also known as H.E.R, which stands for “Having Everything Revealed,” has been topping charts and making history. From being the first Black female artist to launch her own Fender Signature Guitar to being a Disney princess in ABC’s Beauty and the Beast, Wilson is a Jill of all trades! With the talent and ability to land life-changing opportunities, she’s even been able to snag working with the Obamas; their animated Netflix series, We the People, just earned her an Emmy and got her one step closer to EGOT.
With 21 Grammy nominations and 5 Grammys, plus the Oscar she received last year for her song “Fight For You,” it’s clear the multi-talented singer is just warming up. When asked about her future, she once told People Magazine, “There’s absolutely going to be an EGOT.” Well, with the new Emmy award, she’s well on her way! Once she earns a Tony, she’ll be joining Whoopi Goldberg and Jennifer Hudson, Black women who’ve already earned all four awards.
We’re hoping her prayers come true! You go, Gabriella!
