“And I’m sure you would agree/ What could fit more perfectly/ Than to have a world party on the day you came to be!”

Today the littlest Obama turns 21-years-old and we are just as shocked as you are! We have literally watched the girls grow up during Obama’s tenure as president and now both Malia and Sasha are grown women. From family throwback pictures of them as babies and on the campaign trail to Sasha’s first visit to the White House alongside her big sister Malia, it has all felt like we were right there, a third sibling so to speak. To be honest, until Sasha went to prom a couple of years ago, stunning us all, we were completely content with cementing her as a pre-teen in our minds for the rest of her life.

Now, our baby sis has turned 21 and it’s the most emotional time ever! Forever First Lady Michelle Obama took to Twitter to share a throwback pic of her and Sasha as a baby and our hearts have melted.

“My baby has grown into a beautiful, independent, compassionate, highly capable young woman. But you will always be my littlest pea. I’m so proud of the human you are becoming. Love, your Mommy,” she captioned the photo.

We know Aunt ‘Chelle. We’re tearing up too!

Then our Forever President took to Instagram to also celebrate his baby girl’s special day.

“I have loved watching you grow into the intelligent, beautiful, and caring young woman you’ve become. And no matter how old you get – you’ll always be my baby girl. Look at those cheeks!,” he captioned another family photo.

It’s all too much – the onion cutting that is.

Happy 21st Birthday, Sasha! Here’s to always being our forever First Daughter.
