Her name is Ntandokazi Matikane and she is Black girl magic. The 3-year-old recently went viral on Twitter after her mother shared a video of her big chop reveal.
According to her mother, Makhotso Matikane, about a month and a half ago she developed an infection on her scalp from getting sand in her hair. After trying to treat it with topical creams the doctor recommended the cut to manage it.

“The rest of the family was very anxious about how she would feel after it cause she’s gotten used to plaiting, she was surprisingly very excited to get a haircut and that’s when I decided to take a video to send to the family so they could see how happy she is,” Makhotso told Because of Them We Can.
The video currently has over 2 million views on Twitter, but what everyone wants to know is how did she become so confident?
“I would be lying if I said I knew where her confidence comes from, I try very hard to just let her know she is beautiful, everything else is her, “ Makhotso said.
