Family is everything for him!

Terrion Arnold is no stranger to the spotlight as the star player for the Alabama Crimson Tide. But during an interview with NFL Network following a stellar performance at the NFL combine on March 1, the cornerback decided to share the spotlight and give credit to the person who’s responsible for his work ethic and drive to succeed: his mother.

“Mom, if you’re watching this right now, your son just wanted to tell you how proud he is of you,” Arnold said in an interview that’s been viewed over 1 million times. “You had me at a young age and you overcame a lot of adversity. People were doubting you, counting you out. And honestly mom like I always tell you, you raised a star. . . I just want to say, Tamala Arnold, I love you, the whole world is watching and I’m blessed to have you as a mom.”

Grab your tissues because it gets even more heartwarming and tear jerking as Arnold continued, “I’m going to continue to keep shining just like you raised me to be. I’ll never forget where I came from, Tallahassee, Florida, it’s a hard place to make it out of. And everybody watching this back at home, I hope you’re proud of me because I gave it my all.”

Arnold certainly did give it his all, crushing his drills and dazzling in interviews at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The cornerback is currently ranked No. 17 on Mel Kiper’s big board of NFL draft prospects.

“Whatever team drafts me, whatever team gets me, they’re getting a great player but a better person,” Arnold said of his performance and prospects.

We’re all proud of you, Terrion!
