In a new NBC Sports ad for the 2024 Paris Olympics, Keke Palmer amplifies the spirit of track star Sha’Carri Richardson. After a setback in the 2020 Olympics, Richardson has returned stronger and more determined than ever. Currently holding the title of one of the “fastest women in the world,” Palmer’s star power in the heartwarming commercial underscores the magnitude of this moment for Richardson.
“She always has something to show—her speed, her talent, her style. Oh, you know, Sha’carri. You see her! Standing out from the crowd, too worthwhile to blend in. Swagger,” says Palmer.
The beloved actress also touches on Richardson’s opportunity to make history at the upcoming Olympics.
“Show me how Sha’Carri can be the first American woman to win Olympic gold in the 100 meters in nearly 30 years…You go get that gold!,” added Palmer.
