In a video shared to social media, this father, DeMarcus Tate @_corez_, captured the emotional moment of sending his daughter off for her first day of kindergarten.
Watching her settle in after making friends, he lingered, feeling overprotective, until she reassured him, “Daddy, you good. Go to work. I’m good now…. As long as I got you, imma be alright,” which brought him to tears.
“I ain’t got too many productive memories of my years… but one thing I know is that I always did right by my kids,” he said.
