Now we can all be as cool as Lenny Kravitz!

The rock star and fashion icon has partnered with the equally stylish and popular sunglasses brand, Ray-Ban, for a rock-and-roll-inspired take on the brand’s Reverse sunglasses. The Ray-Ban x Lenny Kravitz capsule collection was released in March, featuring limited-edition shades available in gold, black, dark gray, and silver. Each pair is etched with Kravitz’s signature.

“As a lifelong fan of Ray-Ban, their timeless style has always resonated with me,” Kravitz told Women Wear Daily. “The Ray-Ban Reverse collaboration is a dream come true, allowing me to merge my love for music and fashion with such an iconic brand.

The Reverse sunglasses differ from traditional Ray-Ban Aviators as they feature a concave lens design. Each pair is manufactured with high-tech lenses that aim to reduce reflections up to 70 percent at the wavelengths the eye is most sensitive to, according to the Ray-Ban product description. The shades are also eco-friendly, using bio-based lenses and frames that help reduce a wearer’s carbon footprint.

The sunglasses make an ideal gift for fashionistas and music fans alike. Not only are the glasses designed by Kravitz himself, but they feature limited-edition packaging and a case signed by the artist.

Kravitz is known for rocking a cool pair of shades. The “American Woman” singer is rarely seen without his Ray-Bans, perhaps most famously paired with an oversized scarf back in 2012, which has since become a seasonal meme. With his Ray-Bans on, Kravitz stays cool no matter what he’s wearing.

“It’s about breaking boundaries, embracing individuality, and seeing the world from a new perspective through those innovative lenses,” he said.

Only 1,000 pairs of the gold Aviator Ray-Ban Reverse sunglasses were made, so get them while you can.
