Misty Copeland, the first African American woman principal dancer in the history of the American Ballet Theatre, turned 36 years old today. To celebrate, she launched a fall/winter collection of her signature apparel line with Under Armour.
Copeland and Under Armour first debuted the Misty Copeland Signature Collection back in May to celebrate women's style and strength. Now the ballet phenom has co-designed new items that showcases the versatility of women.
"This collection is about being able to mix it up and not having just one look," Copeland said in a statement. “We have so many sides to us, and it’s nice to have that balance and not to be told you have to be one way or another."
