From the Football Field to the Classroom: Jalen Hurts Achieves Master’s Degree Milestone

He’s definitely mastered it!

Although the Philadelphia Eagles lost the Super Bowl, Quarterback Jalen Hurts has continued to push through with excellence! In under one year Jalen Hurts has made Super Bowl history, became the highest paid NFL player, and now he’s surpassing major milestones off the field. 

The Super Bowl veteran walked across the stage this past weekend to accept his masters degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. His biggest inspiration for pursuing his masters was his mother Pam. Last month he told ESSENCE in an interview, “My mother went back to school and she got her Master’s to become a counselor. That’s living testimony for me.”

He led his team to the big NFL game and now he’s leading as an example for all the young fans following him. Congratulations, Jalen!
