Kevin Hart is using his platform to help victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas and challenging his celebrity friends to do the same with his Hurricane Harvey Relief Challenge.
“I think we’ve participated in a lot of challenges on the internet. Some meaningful, some meaningless, but we’ve all done them,” said the comedian on Sunday in an Instagram video. “At this point, I’m going to start a real challenge.”
In the video, Hart challenged fellow celebrities such as Beyoncé, Jay Z, Chris Rock, and Dave Chappelle to match his $25,000 donation to the American Red Cross to support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. He also encouraged them to tag others after they’ve completed the challenge.
