A well-deserved honor for an extraordinary educator!

Dr. Valerie Camille Jones Ford, a celebrated math teacher and department head at the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, has officially been inducted into the National Teachers Hall of Fame. With 20 years of teaching experience under her belt, Dr. Jones Ford was chosen from hundreds of nominees and is one of just five educators across the nation to receive the honor this year. She also makes history as only the fourth inductee from the state of Georgia since the Hall of Fame’s founding, Ron Clark Academy reports.

Known for her dynamic, student-centered teaching style, Dr. Jones Ford blends project-based learning, performing arts, and technology to transform the math classroom into a space of creativity and connection, the Hall of Fame reports.
