Ashlee M. Davis, J.D., recently graduated cum laude from American University Washington College of Law, but she didn’t do it alone. Her best friend of 22 years, Tianna Williams, J.D., graduated right alongside her!
In a heartwarming photoshoot shared on social media, @theashleemichelle @tinic0lee posed together in their doctoral gowns, holding hands and fixing each other’s tams. They also posted a throwback photo from 2002, highlighting their long journey.
Congratulations to these grads who join the 5% of lawyers and 2% of Black women in the legal field. We love to see it!
